Obama Administration Admits: ObamaCare Will Raise Premiums

Remember when Obamacare was first proposed?

It was going to make healthcare affordable for all.  Everyone was going to enjoy the prosperous land of milk and honey that is what we were promised…

That was until the other day, when Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told reporters that well… healthcare premiums are still going to increase.

“Some people purchasing new insurance policies for themselves this fall could see premiums rise because of requirements in the health-care law, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told reporters Tuesday.” (Louise Radnofsky, “Sebelius: Some Could See Insurance Premiums,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/26/13)

Wow… but I’m sure she misspoke and that was the only time she said premiums would increase, right?  Wrong.

“‘These folks will be moving into a really fully insured product for the first time, and so there may be a higher cost associated with getting into that market,’ she said.” (Louise Radnofsky, “Sebelius: Some Could See Insurance Premiums,”The Wall Street Journal, 3/26/13)

and

“She also said that some men and younger customers could see their rates increase while women and older customers could see their rates drop because the law restricts insurers’ ability to set rates based on age and gender.” (Louise Radnofsky, “Sebelius: Some Could See Insurance Premiums,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/26/13)

Looks like we were lied to again folks.  The Obama administration wants us to believe that things will be magical and amazing under their rule, but as we have all found out, that has not been the case.

They continue to mismanage your money and they mismanaged the approach to healthcare… their landmark legislation.  You should ask yourself what’s next?  What is coming that they may have already created that could make your life worse?  And strap yourself in for whatever it could be, because there’s more… it’ll just take time to uncover.
